Portofino Terra Short Kimono

Portofino Terra is a limited silk-blend resort kimono, created in only one or two pieces. Its abstract mosaic print brings together warm terracotta, sun-washed sand, charcoal, muted burgundy, and touches of faded blue, creating a richer and warmer interpretation of the Portofino story.

Cut above the knee, the shorter silhouette gives the piece a more relaxed and immediate character while preserving the depth and artistic quality of the print. It can be worn open over swimwear, tied at the waist, or styled as a compact resort layer for hotel mornings, beach clubs, yacht afternoons, seaside lunches, and warm evenings in the city.

Kinuito pieces are made from delicate fabrics selected for softness, drape, and movement. To preserve the beauty and feel of your piece, gentle handling is recommended at all times.

General Care

Hand wash cold.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Cool iron only.
Dry clean when needed.

Washing

When suitable, your piece may also be washed in a washing machine on a gentle cycle.

We recommend placing it in a protective laundry bag, washing it separately, and using a low spin setting only.

Avoid hot water, strong detergents, bleach, and rough washing cycles.

Drying

Do not tumble dry.

Hang gently or lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Avoid twisting or wringing the fabric.

Ironing and Steaming

Use a cool iron only.

When ironing, place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric to help protect the surface.

Gentle steam may be used if needed. Always avoid excessive heat.

Sunscreen, Skincare and Cosmetic Products

Some sunscreen, SPF, skincare, oils, perfume, makeup, and cosmetic products may react with delicate fabrics and leave yellow, greenish, oily, or other visible marks.

These stains may be permanent and cannot always be removed, even after washing or dry cleaning.

For this reason, Kinuito cannot take responsibility for discoloration, staining, or fabric changes caused by contact with sunscreen, skincare, oils, perfume, makeup, or other cosmetic products.

Please take extra care when wearing light-colored or delicate pieces.

Jewellery, Bags and Snags

Kinuito pieces are made from delicate flowing fabrics. Please take care around jewellery, watches, rings, bracelets, bags, rough surfaces, and any sharp or textured details that may catch or pull the threads.

Snags, pulls, and thread damage can happen when delicate fabric comes into contact with sharp or rough objects. These marks may not be reversible.

For this reason, Kinuito cannot take responsibility for pulls, snags, or fabric damage caused by wear, jewellery, accessories, bags, or rough surfaces.

Storage

Store hanging or loosely folded in a dry place to help preserve the fabric’s drape and softness.

Each piece is shipped with tracking from the location where it is currently held. Delivery times may vary depending on the destination country, customs processing, and local postal services.

Where possible, customs-related charges are handled through our shipping service or reflected in the final order cost. If any destination-specific charges apply, we will contact you before dispatch.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be returned unworn, unused, unwashed, and in their original condition. Please make sure the item is returned with all original packaging, labels, and any included details.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Kinuito cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Refunds are issued after the returned item has been received and inspected. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item shows signs of wear, washing, damage, stains, perfume, makeup marks, or any other condition that prevents it from being resold.

If your order arrives damaged due to transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the packaging and the item, so we can review the issue.
